Curious Minds Daycare is a small, family-feeling early-learning home in Saskatoon, built around the simple idea that childhood deserves to be nurtured — never rushed.

Our story

Born from a love of childhood.

Curious Minds was founded by Baljot Kaur, who set out to create the kind of daycare she'd want her own family to attend — warm, calm, beautifully equipped, and run by people who truly love working with little ones.

From our cozy classrooms to our bright outdoor play space, every corner of Curious Minds is designed to help children feel safe, seen, and free to explore. We're proud to be part of the Saskatoon community and to walk alongside the families who trust us with their most precious people.

Our philosophy

Children learn best when they're loved, safe, and free to play.

We believe early childhood is not a race to be won — it's a season to be savoured. Our days are built around play, connection, and the everyday rhythms that make young children feel grounded.

Connection first

Strong, secure relationships with caring adults are the foundation of everything we do. Learning grows from there.

Play is the work

Block towers, dress-up, water tables, story time — for young children, play is how the world is figured out. We protect that.

Every child is unique

We follow the child. Routines are predictable, but each day is shaped by who's in the room and what they're curious about.

Founder & Director, Curious Minds Daycare

Baljot leads Curious Minds with the warmth of a parent and the steady hand of an experienced educator. Her passion for early childhood shows up in every detail of the program — from how rooms are set up, to how meals are planned, to how educators are supported.
